Theatre Works

Applied Theatre & Narrative Solutions to improve team dynamics, improve wellbeing, and create a culture that works.

When your employees say they're having a great time, they won't be acting...

Traditional corporate training teaches your people what to say. Theatre Works supports them with how to listen, respond, and connect.

We translate the core toolkits of professional theatre, active listening, character perspective, scenario analysis, and live forum drama, into practical, high-impact workplace solutions.

Our programmes help people build psychological safety, master high-stakes conversations, and strengthen team culture, all without a trust-fall in sight.

Rehearsing for Real Life
  • Focus: Leadership, difficult conversations, and scenario-based roleplay.

  • Ideal For: People Managers, Senior Leadership, and HR Teams

What You Learn: Navigating performance reviews, structural change, or interpersonal conflict requires poise and empathy. In this scenario-led workshop, leaders work alongside professional facilitators to analyse real-world workplace dynamics, practice high-stakes feedback, and refine their communication style in a supportive, zero-risk setting.

Key Outcomes:

  • Increased confidence in managing sensitive or high-conflict conversations.

  • Reduced workplace stress and management anxiety.

  • Practical tools for fostering psychological safety across teams.

Going Off Script
  • Focus: Applied Scenarios, Active Listening & Team Collaboration

  • Ideal For: Cross-functional teams, newly merged departments, and project squads

What You Learn: Effective collaboration relies on adaptability and mutual trust. Using applied scenario rehearsals and active listening frameworks, this interactive workshop breaks down hierarchy, eliminates silos, and gets teams operating from a shared mindset of "Yes, and..." that can help staff as they translate their core strengths into team strengths.

Key Outcomes:

  • Sharpened active listening and non-verbal communication skills.

  • Greater agility and creative problem-solving under pressure.

  • Deeper trust and authentic connection among colleagues.

A Confident Performer

  • Focus: Empathetic Communication, Vocal Confidence & Presentation

  • Ideal For: Client-facing teams, executives, and public speakers

What You'll Learn: Impactful communication is about more than powerpoint slides—it's about emotional resonance and authenticity. Drawing on professional actor-training techniques, participants learn to command a room, control vocal projection, manage pressure, and structure narratives that connect with clients and stakeholders.

Key Outcomes:

  • Enhanced executive presence and public speaking confidence.

  • Mastery over body language, vocal tone, and breathing under stress.

  • Clearer, more persuasive brand and project storytelling.

Theatre in the Round

  • Focus: A quick activity to get your workforce thinking like a team and not a group of individuals.

  • Ideal For: All-staff away days, annual conferences, and corporate retreats

What You'll Learn: In this interactive session based on Forum Theatre techniques, we will reenact common, relatable workplace dilemmas live on stage. Your teams can stop the scenes, adjust actions, and test alternative outcomes to solve challenges in real time.

Key Outcomes:

  • High engagement and immediate connection.

  • A memorable, shared experience that starts meaningful conversations.

  • A fresh, energetic dynamic for large company events.
